Chamber of commerce election campaigns in Turkey

In chamber of commerce, chamber of industry and commodity exchange elections in Turkey, the electorate is the chamber’s members. Communication is built for that defined audience: list identity, member visits, committee films, a voting guide and a campaign website. Our work in the Gebze Chamber of Commerce election is an example.

How chamber elections differ

Chamber and exchange elections are held under Law No. 5174 and the TOBB regulation on organ elections, under judicial supervision and by secret ballot. According to the regulation, general elections take place every four years, starting in October and finishing in November. Professional committees and the assembly are elected on the same day; the board and its chair are then elected by the assembly. The campaign schedule follows these stages. Exact dates are announced by each chamber and the election board.

What we produce

  • List identity: name, colours, posters, leaflets, business cards, social templates and consistent candidate portraits
  • Member and business visits: filmed and published as short videos and photo series the same day
  • Committee and sector films: short films on the list’s priorities for each professional committee
  • Voting guide: polling station, hours, documents to bring and how to fill in the ballot, checked against official announcements
  • Campaign website: profile, commitments, videos, press coverage, countdown and polling station map

Gebze Chamber of Commerce

For Abdurrahman Aslantaş and his list we produced the campaign identity and visuals, committee films, a manifesto film, the “New Projects” series, a video guide on how to vote in the chamber election, the list introduction and coverage of meetings with traders and manufacturers. The series runs to 24 videos on our YouTube channel. The Turkish and English campaign website includes a profile, commitments, videos, a press section, a countdown, a polling station map and a step-by-step voting guide.

Where we work

On site in Gebze and Kocaeli, and with planned shooting days in Istanbul and other cities across Turkey. Content compliance is checked by the client’s legal adviser before publishing; we work for the client who hires us and express no institutional or political preference.

This is a commercial service we provide to our clients. Working with a candidate or list does not mean we endorse them, and it makes no claim about any election result.

Our election projects

Campaigns we have run. Each card opens the project page; the videos come from the campaign playlists on the JASSİR YouTube channel.
