Privacy and cookies
This page briefly explains which data is used when you browse our site. For form and contact data, see the KVKK information notice.
Summary
- The site has no analytics, advertising or social media tracking cookies.
- Fonts and images load from our own server; no requests are sent to third-party servers when the page opens.
- The YouTube video only loads when you press play.
What’s stored in the browser
Our site doesn’t use cookies. The only thing stored permanently in your browser (localStorage) is whether you opened the satellite map in the contact section; the map only loads from Google Maps when you press it. A few small technical items are kept in session storage (sessionStorage), which only lasts while the tab is open: whether you turned the intro music on or off, and the second the music reached (with the time it was saved) so it can continue seamlessly when you change page or language; a short flag for the transition animation when you change language; and a flag so that, if the home page’s opening scene has already played in this tab, a short version is shown next time. This information isn’t sent to us and is deleted when you close the tab. Animations follow your device’s “reduce motion” setting; this setting is only read by your browser and isn’t sent to us.
YouTube videos
Videos on the project pages load nothing from YouTube until you press play. When you press it, the video loads from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and your browser connects to YouTube. After you press play, YouTube may use cookies or local storage in your browser. YouTube’s own privacy terms apply to this connection.
Quote form and protection
The form sends your details to our own server. When the form appears on screen, the page requests a short-lived signed token from the server; this request appears in the hosting logs. To prevent abuse, a one-way hash of the IP address is also used; no cookies are used. For details, see the KVKK information notice.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd. The hosting provider may process visitors’ IP addresses and browser information in technical logs under its own policy.
External links
The office maps on the contact page load as a satellite image from Google Maps when the section comes into view; your browser then connects to Google and Google’s privacy terms apply. On the English and German pages, the map only loads when you press the “Open satellite view” button. WhatsApp, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and map links take you to those services’ own sites. Those services are responsible for how your data is processed there.
