Election campaign management
We run election campaign communication for candidates and organisations with one team: campaign identity, film and photography, social media, website and press visuals. The schedule is built backwards from election day, and every piece of content goes to you for approval before it is published.
Scope of election campaign management
- Campaign identity and visual language: colours, typeface, posters and social media templates; the same look on every channel
- Candidate and team film and photography: portraits, a promotional film and short videos
- Field and committee shoots: filming and editing visits, meetings and committee work
- Social media management: content calendar, design and publishing
- Website: a single or multilingual site for the candidate or campaign
- Press visuals: photos and image sets for the press
- Schedule and reporting: a work plan based on election day, a publishing schedule and reports
Planning by type of election
Chamber and association elections, local elections and elections abroad differ in electorate, duration and rules. In chamber elections the electorate is a defined group of members; communication runs through committee work, visits and member-focused content. Local elections reach a broad district-wide audience; field footage and social media come to the fore. For elections abroad, content is prepared in that country’s language and according to its rules.
Schedule: planning backwards from election day
In an election the date is fixed, so the plan is written backwards from election day. Identity and website are prepared in the first weeks of the campaign, field and committee shoots run throughout, and the final days are set aside for election-day information. For campaigns that start late, the production order is rearranged to fit the time left.
Approval and legal review process
The decision rests with the candidate or organisation. Every visual, film, post and page goes through your approval before publishing. Because the rules vary with the type of election, compliance of content with the relevant regulations is checked with the client’s legal advisers before publication. We don’t give legal advice.
Our neutrality principle and our limits
- This is a commercial service. We work on behalf of, and as directed by, the candidate or organisation that hires us. Working with a candidate doesn’t mean we support them; we don’t express political views.
- We don’t promise results. We don’t promise vote counts, an election result or a specific reach figure. We set out the work and schedule in the quote and report on what was done.
The election campaign management process: five steps
At steps that need approval (calendar, identity, content and reports), the output goes to you for approval.
- First callThe type of election, date, target audience and who holds approval authority are set.
- Identity and scheduleThe campaign identity and a work schedule based on election day are prepared and sent to you for approval.
- ShootingCandidate, team, field and committee shoots are done according to the schedule.
- Production and approvalVisuals, films, posts and the site are prepared. Every piece goes through your approval, and your legal adviser’s if needed, before publication.
- Publishing and reportingContent is published on schedule; what was published and how many people were reached is reported.

Frequently asked questions about election campaign management
Which elections do you work on?
We have run campaign communication for chamber elections, local elections and elections abroad. Because the type of election changes the rules and the timeline, the type and date of the election are settled before work begins.
Do you support any candidate or party?
No. We provide a commercial service on behalf of the candidate or organisation that hires us. We don’t express political views; working with a candidate is not a statement of opinion about them.
Do you promise votes or an election result?
No. The election result is the voters’ decision. Our responsibility is to deliver the work listed in the quote on schedule and to report on what was done.
How long before the election should we start?
Starting early eases the schedule. If the field campaign starts before the identity, website and first shoots are ready, production gets squeezed. When work starts late, priorities are clarified and the scope is adjusted to the time left.
What happens to the site and accounts after the campaign?
The domain, the website and the social media accounts belong to the candidate or organisation. After the election, the site is archived, updated or taken offline as you decide.
Who checks that content complies with election rules?
Content is checked with the client’s legal advisers before publication; we don’t give legal advice. Every piece that goes live goes through your approval first.
